Global warming and the continuing energy waste made us all think how we can save more energy. The action to take as a personal are not too hard and the power saving can be much bugger. Together with advanced power saving systems and power saving technologies, we can all reduce the global warming process and reduce the energy use in the daily life.

One of the most energy saving consumers in our home is the light. Traditional lamps and halogen lamps we are all using are high electricity consumers and they must be replaced. The incandescent bulbs are using up to 100W to produce light. Most of this energy is not in use for the light but being wasted to heat the light bulb. With the halogen bulbs, the situation is even worse, up to 500W are in use, when most of it in order to bring the bulb to very high temperatures. The action to take is to replace these light sources to LED's and Fluorescent lights.

LED’s, Light Emitting Diodes: Becoming more and more popular among young people. The light of the LED's is not always comfortable to everyone since the special spectrum of colors it produced, but the efficiency is great. The LED's last for more than 10 years and c an be use to light houses, parks, public area's and traffic lights. Although the LED's light are not so strong, not light fluorescent lights I will detail later, by using 3-4 bulbs in the same lamp, can make the same effect. The LED's lamps are using 1W-3W only and consider as the light of the 21th century.

Fluorescent Lighting: The fluorescent lights are the first to replace any traditional and halogen lights in private houses. It uses only 1/6 of the electricity power of traditional incandescent bulb. The fluorescent are always last longer and are in use for the known neon tubes and modern energy savers. The energy saver bulbs are becoming popular and are part of the new age design and thinking. There are to main issues with the fluorescent lights, the fact that they are sometimes flicks and the illumination of some colors at the area in the light. These two issues are known and solved with advanced techniques and technologies. The need for green energy and power saving lightning solutions has put the fluorescent in the front line since they are using 40W maximum.      

Replacing the light bulbs at home is solving the problem of wasting energy at home. Closing un needed lights is preventing this problem.
