Saving lightning energy has become one of the main goals in order to reach the top target of power savings. The energy we are using for lightning is high comparing to other needs and with simple solutions, simple items and some technology; we can all save lightning energy easily.
To do the right steps toward lightning energy saving, we need to understand the current products we are using and the alternative products and opportunities we have to use. Today, we are all using the old fashion, standard light bulbs. These bulbs, also known as incandescent lightning bulbs are using large range of frequencies; most of them are not visible for our human eyes. The outcome is that most of the energy is converted to heat and we actually use the electricity more to heat the lamp instead of to light them.
The typical incandescent light bulbs we are using at home, needs around 40W-100W to light. Again, most of the energy is used for heating the lamp and small amount for the light itself. This is a tremendous waste of energy in lightning. Halogen lamps are reaching very high temperatures and therefore using more energy than the traditional incandescent lamps. The Halogen lights use 300W-500W and produce the same amount of light.
So the upcoming question is why we should use this kind of light bulbs and to waste so much energy. The answer is simple, this is old technology. These are the light bulbs Mr. Edison invented so many years ago. Today there are new, Energy savings bulbs and we need to make the step and to use them instead. But what are the options?
Today, there are two main options to save lightning energy, Fluorescent lightning bulbs or LED's ( Light Emitting Diodes ). These two options are easy for use and available for purchase anywhere. The Save in lightning energy will be huge and you will se it in the monthly electricity bills.
